We worked with Northwest stoves to define the problems they needed to solve with product promotion and document distribution to their dealer network. From there we defined a solution that would allow dealers access to up to date product information and provide retail customers with easy access to the dealer network.

Northwest Stoves is the exclusive distributor in BC, Alberta and the Yukon for twenty brands of different fireplace, stove, bbq and heater manufacturers. While they do not sell directly to the public, promoting their brands and models and directing visitors to dealer sites, contributes to increased sales.
The primary purpose of their website however is a functional one – to keep their dealers up to date with ready access to product information including sales brochures, installation and safety information.
A custom designed database keeps track of dealers and which brands and products they sell. When new material is added to the database, an alert is only sent out to the dealers who need it.
Northwest stoves wanted to promote their products but they do not sell directly to the public so they needed to drive traffic to their dealer network. They have a large network of dealers that require detailed product information and sales tools to support their retail business model.
What the Client Needed:
Northwest Stoves needed a marketing solution and a way to manage thousands of documents needed to support their dealer network.
We provided Northwest Stoves with a custom designed database application to manage dealers, vendors and documents. This system allows them to keep their dealers up to date with ready access to product information including sales brochures, installation and safety information.
All product inquiries through the website are directed to their dealer network based on the brands each dealer has in stock.
